Reading PROPEL 2027-2029 strategic plan, one idea stood out to me.

The next phase isn’t about building a bigger fleet.

It’s about making the existing fleet more valuable.

PROPEL targets 50%+ Adjusted EPS growth by 2029.

The question is no longer: “How many ships can we add?”

It’s: “How much more value can every ship generate?”

Celebration Key shows another shift. Private destinations aren’t just destinations. They’re strategic assets that expand the vacation ecosystem and capture more guest spending.

Different brands.

Different guests.

One shared platform.

Differentiate where guests see value. Integrate where scale creates value.

My takeaway?

Carnival spent decades building scale. Now it’s focused on monetising that scale.

But here’s the question: If the cruise industry wants to win a larger share of the global vacation market, someone will eventually need to add capacity.

If Carnival isn’t leading that race… who will?
